This mattress is used for the maintenance of skin health; the prevention and treatment of stage I-IV pressure ulcers.This system utilizes three modalities of therapy to treat pressure ulcers. First, low air loss technology with a high flow rate provides pressure and moisture management for the treatment of pressure ulcers. Second, advanced 3-1 alternation provides active pressure relief: for every three cells, one cell alternates in deflation, off-loading pressure on the body and ensuring 2/3 of the body is always supported at any time. Third, for people who cannot tolerate alternation, pulsation provides a gentler means of increasing blood flow through the entire body, while fully supporting the body under all 18 cells for optimum comfort.

Additional features:
Suitable for bariatric use. Mesh center strip keeps cells together and provides protection from slipping between cells in any position. Blower system provides up to 1,200 litres of air per minute to wick away moisture and create a proper climate for the healing of skin ulcers. Will wick away up to 1.5 litres of fluid in a 24 hour period. Manual “Happy Heel” section to further decrease pressure under the heels Customization options available.
